The Dredge comes with 20 feet of suction hose and the oversized non-clogging power jet and jet flare. The dredge comes with a standard engine such as the 6.5hp intek pro Briggs & Stratton or the 6.5 hp Honda, our P180 pump and the optional T80 air compressor and the air snorkel. The dredge is just the right size to fit in between the wheel wells of a mini pickup or inside a small SUV. The new float and frame on much smaller and lighter only 40 inches wide and 60” long and complete weighs less than 50 lbs. The lighter sluice and flare weights around 30 lbs, making it easy to throw it over your shoulder and pack it in. The new sluice is a single stage box, however with the woven wire classifier, the long rubber damper, miners moss, rubber ribbed matting and the latest riffle designs, you will not be disappointed in the fine gold recovery. The sluice box has been shortened by 8” for a total of 40” in length. The smaller, more compact 4” is ideal for packing into remote areas and is also great for quick one day outings. This New 4” dredge is specifically designed to be lighter and more portable than standard models. The flotation system has been designed with a light frame and the streamlined pontoons are equipped with 3 "stringers" on the bottom that assist in sliding over rocks in shallow water. The pivoting Jet Flare and sluice can be detached from the floats and placed on level ground for use with a power jet or suction nozzle. The Jet can be pivoted upward between the floats for ease of maneuvering through extremely shallow water.
Marlex Jet Flares increase suction power, diffusing material for more equal distribution into the sluice box. The combination of miners moss and expanded metal placed under the first half of the riffle section allows for improved fine gold recovery. A large woven wire mesh classifier screen and black rubber ribbed matting at the entry section of the sluice provides for better classification and instant recognition of values. The reinforced sluice box features rolled top edges and heavy duty latches for long life and durability as well as a long sluice track adjustment for precise tilt positioning.
